Wirtheim Design Token :: Color Plate is a study in color, form and meaning. This is the debut NFT collection of the Wirtheim Design Studio, and marks the launch of this studio’s NFT creation projects. Purchasing one of these tokens supports this studio and the work we do.
These commemorative Tokens are presented as limited edition, untrimmed, signed color plates. The margin has the trim markings, traditional registration targets, color check wheel, logo boilerplate and token number. In this way, the collection is in keeping with the print-makers practices to ensure the legitimacy of the edition.

The stylings and color treatments are in the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement of the 1900’s, as well as a nod to the Bauhaus School of Design and Craft. Each movement emerging to showcase the skill and quality of handcrafted work, in a world that was becoming more and more machine-made. Just as they responded to the Industrial Age of their times, Wirtheim’s designs are a response to the mass-produced digital media of the 2020’s.
